    (사)한국국방MICE연구원은 국방·안보 및 정부·지자체·각급 단체의 다양한 MICE 업무를 관련분야 최고 전문가, 학자들이 중심이 되어 학술적, 실무적으로 지원하고 컨벤션, 전시회, 행사/
    이벤트 등을 주최, 주관함으로써 국가 산업 활성화와 예산의 효율적 집행, 국가정책의 효과적 시행에 기여하기 위해 설립된 국방부 인가 비영리 사단법인입니다.

    최근 MICE분야는 국가경제 발전에 비례하여 각종 전시회, 국제회의 등에 있어 국제화·전문화는 물론, 정책결정자들의 요구를 선도할 수 있는 글로벌 수준의 지원을 요구하고 있습니다.
    특히, 사회 각 분야에서 경제적·정책적 파급효과가 매우 큰 플랫폼으로서 MICE 산업을 인식하고 수준 제고를 요구하고 있는 현실을 감안할 때 이에 걸맞는 발전대책 마련이 긴요한
    실정입니다.

    조사·평가 및 홍보', '民·官·軍·産·學 협력방안 제시 및 사업 지원', '각 군 관련 주요행사 주관'등 을 통해 효과적인 정책집행과 국가 신성장동력산업으로서 MICE업무가 제 역할을 다할 수

    Effective Management and Implementation of National Defense Policy: The Pinnacle Defense-Industrial Revitalization Platform Defense MICE Institute (DMI)

    The Defense MICE Institute (DMI) is dedicated to offering both academic and practical support, orchestrating conventions, exhibitions, and events featuring leading experts and scholars. Our mission revolves around addressing various MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) requirements in the domains of national defense, security, government, and organizations.

    DMI, a non-profit corporation authorized by the Ministry of Defense, is committed to contributing to the enhancement of the national industry, the efficient allocation of budgets, and the effective execution of national defense policies.

    In recent times, as our national economy has evolved, the MICE sector has called for greater globalization and specialization, necessitating comprehensive support at the global level to meet the demands of policymakers participating in various exhibitions and international conferences.

    Particularly noteworthy is the recognition of the MICE industry as a platform with a substantial economic and policy impact across all segments of society. In response to this recognition, it becomes imperative to formulate and implement appropriate development strategies to elevate its standards.

    Consequently, DMI is unwavering in its commitment to effectively execute policies, ensuring that the MICE industry fulfills its role as a burgeoning economic sector within our nation. This is achieved through activities such as providing expert advice and proposing policy initiatives, hosting academic research and seminars related to defense, security, and government affairs, specializing in MICE events, facilitating globalization, conducting research and evaluations, and devising collaboration plans for industry, government, military, academia, and business support. Additionally, we take pride in hosting major events related to each military branch.
